The recent Referendum and decision for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union has created an amount of uncertainty both politically and throughout business.
Beating cancer together.
Well done and thank you to those who wore their teams Football Shirt to Work last Friday. We’ve donated £100 towards the fight against cancer.
Your donation will help us to beat bowel cancer sooner
Dear Paul ,
Thank you so much for your donation of £100.00.
Your gift will help to fund world-class research into bowel cancer.
Thanks to our scientists, doctors and nurses, more people are surviving cancer now than ever before. But we can’t stop there. We’ll keep working to diagnose cancer earlier, make treatments kinder and more effective and get closer to beating cancer.
Without you, our pioneering work just wouldn’t be possible – so thank you again from us all.

Football Shirt to Work day
Everyone has been affected by cancer. Some personally, some where family members have suffered and certainly we all have friends who have fought this terrible disease. Cancer Research is a wonderful charity and on Friday 22nd April they’re having a ‘Football Shirt to Work’ day.
Humbled!
Sometimes we lose accounts. Thank goodness more often than not there’s nothing we could have done to stop it and you just have to thank them for their business and hope that one day you get the opportunity to work with them again.
Sales and Service, Frenemies?
I never knew that problems between sales & service was a big thing, until I started working for a big corporate company back in 2012. Before this I had my own company, brought in my own sales and managed a service team without any of the complications some environments deal with today.
New Year, new challenges.
The reason I ‘fell’ in to the cleaning industry was firstly by accident (I was involved in selling cleaning franchises) and then stayed in the industry as it became blatantly obvious that the industry was amateurish, unprofessional and also an enormous opportunity for a company who could introduce better working practices, increase productivity, improve customer service and in some cases, save the clients money.
Spooky stuff!
I occasionally get asked questions about my time in business and apart from the usual “Why did you start up in business?” or “What’s the proudest thing you’ve achieved?” one of the most popular includes “Have you or do you clean anywhere that’s been haunted?”
The Living Wage Challenge
There is little doubt that the Governments announcement of the new Living Wage a few months back is great news for those working for or in the region of the current minimum wage.
Refer a Friend
We’re always looking for the very best people we can find and have for a couple of years used our ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme to attract and keep great staff. A couple of staff recently introduced members of their family / friends and were surprised when we explained that they would get paid for it! So this is how it works,
If you introduce a friend or family member and they stay with us for four consecutive months in the job allocated, we’ll pay £40 in your following month’s pay. It really is that simply, no catches, we just want brilliant people to join us.
So, if you know of anyone wanting work and you already work with us, please point them in the direction of the office (0191 2720825) or any of the Operations team and we’ll ensure you’ll get paid on the fifth month after they start work.
