Thank You Agnes
After thirteen years (and five months) working in the Edwards Family, Agnes Dembo retired today. Never late or sick, Agnes has been so very loyal and hard working for us and of course, the customers Agnes has worked with over the years. Mother of seven children, Agnes joined us in 2006 being able to speak little English. Agnes actually took over her daughter’s work when Candy decided to leave and Agnes has been with us ever since. This morning, just before the end of her shift, Hazel, Andrius and Paul went to wish Agnes a very happy retirement and say thank you. You’re going to be a huge miss, thank you very much for such amazing loyalty, dedication and for looking after our customers.
Organ Donation Week
All of my family now carry a donor card. Once we go we can help others to live. Far too many people are dying needlessly when they could live normal lives. What a gift to leave!

Twenty Years On
On the 1st September 1998 we’d sold our house, I’d quit my well-paid job and had a hire car delivered so I could at least get about.

From Monday the 6th August 2018 we’ll be located in a lovely new office in Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Time for a Change
Since we went in to business in 1998 and subsequently re-named to Edwards Commercial Cleaning Services Ltd in 2003, we’ve worked from an office in our home.
Infection Prevention
Hazel and I were lucky enough to be able to attend the Interclean Show in Amsterdam last week. It’s probably the biggest cleaning show in Europe and was absolutely massive with literally thousands of exhibitors crammed into 12 huge halls.
The Beast from the East Didn’t Stop Us!
Hearing some of the many stories about the awful conditions thrown at us from the ‘Beast from the East’ over the last seven days or so have been absolutely inspirational.

Due to huge expansion we’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our family business. You’ll need to be a real ‘team player’ a good organiser and motivator and know how to liaise brilliantly with customers.
