I have to say that 2021 brought it’s challenges but at least it was much better than 2020!

New Beginnings.
I may be rather biased but tonight’s news of a massive investment in both Newcastle United and the region as a whole is just fantastic news and something that’s been needed for years.

I think, like most businesses, since March 2020 when the pandemic caught up with us here in the UK it’s been a difficult time for everyone. At that time, in the space of a month, we lost 60% of our business as offices, schools and some factories literally closed their doors.

Funny Thing…
We’ve been in business since September 2003 and in that time we’ve had many sales meetings, operations meetings and hundreds of one to one chats but you know what? We’ve never, ever, had the whole management team in one room. Not once.

Just when we thought the new normal had arrived, it’s all change as Covid19 raises it’s ugly head once again.
Getting Back to Business!
At long last we have a number of furloughed members of the team returning after their time away from the business, including the sales and marketing teams so we can start to get back to growth and creating opportunities once again.
A Time to Look Forward
I suppose, if nothing else, this terrible Covid19 situation has given a lot of business owners a time to look reflect on what they do and how things could be improved, changed or left alone.

I’m sure in years to come, 2020 will be remembered but not in a good way.
End of a Decade – Beginning of New
Happy New Year.
It doesn’t seem two minutes ago when we were preparing for the ‘millennium bug’ and the chaos it was about the reveal with systems crashing, infrastructure failing and aircraft dropping from the skies. That was twenty years ago. Twenty. I can’t believe it.
